The Living Room at HB Homestead Project 1

This was the first home built in the Homestead Subdivision by Harris Builds in a small community in Southern Idaho. It was a pleasure to collaborate with my brothers and Dad to build such a beautiful home! The Living Room space is center stage when you first walk in with its glorious two story window and bright and beautiful feel. I wanted to bring in elements of warmth, pattern and texture to give depth to these SW White Dove walls and I think this leather sofa did just the trick. The rich leather immediately draws your eye and grounds this expansive space.

To complement all the straight square lines in the space I introduced circles and round forms from the chandelier to the end tables and lamps. The round coffee table plays beautifully off the large 36" round chandelier. And I love the scale of this thrifted lamp I used too! It unfortunately broke taking it back home after this home sold but we can still enjoy the photos right? There are 18 total lots in this beauitful country neighborhood and this home certainly set the stage for beautiful things in the future. It sold to the first person who walked in its doors before it even went on the market!

The fireplace was a showstopper with its custom black steel firesplace surround and built-in display cabinets. I'd love to cuddle up next to this fireplace especially with the extended winter we're having!

This rug is a favorite of mine from Loloi Rugs collection by Chris Loves Julia, here's a link!

It's from their Jules Collection in Denim & Spice. I love the soft organic pattern and element of color it brings to this otherwise neutral home.

Here are a few other sources for pieces I used to style and stage this beautiful market home!

I hope you enjoyed this closer look at the HB Homestead Project 1 Living Room! You can see more of this beautiful home in my portfolio here!
